Woman Crush Wednesday: Life Advice from 10 Amazing Women

I’m so excited to be making another one of these posts! There are so many incredible women out there who are making their voices heard! One of my favorite things is going through Tumblr and looking for quotes that help me realize what’s truly important in life. Sometimes, you just need a little life advice from an outside source. Here are 10 women who I believe have some really inspiring things to say!

  1. Natalie Dormer on why you should never stop working towards success.

“I had a period of unemployment for about nine months after my first big break, and it’s the greatest lesson I ever could have learned, never to believe you’re home and dry.”

2. Sophie Turner on believing in your dreams.

‘If you believe, you can achieve’ – that’s my motto!”

3. Emma Stone on the best advice she’s ever been given.

“The best advice I ever got was: ‘stay irrepressibly true to yourself and be tenacious about finding ways to manifest the truest form of you.’ We’re all meant to be here, and we all have completely unique perspectives and personalities and stories worth sharing. For me, it’s important to never forget that. There’s no use in comparing yourself to anybody else.”

4. Emilia Clarke, telling us what we all know is the truth…

Being a single girl in New York it’s what you should be doing in your twenties!”

5. Emma Watson on not being a people pleaser.

“All I can do is follow my instincts, because I’ll never please everyone.

6. Holland Roden on why confidence is key

“Have confidence in who you are and don’t be afraid to go for what you really want in life.”

7. Shailene Woodley on who you should really be idolizing.

I want to idolize people who are out there every day fighting for beautiful causes.”

8. Anna Kendrick on why you definitely shouldn’t be afraid of feminism.

“Why are we afraid of that word? It exists and we can’t get rid of it, so let’s fight for it and embrace it.”

9. Mindy Kaling on faking it ’til you make it (in a good way).

Mindy Kaling

“Sometimes you just have to put on lip gloss and pretend to be psyched.”

10. Last but certainly not least, Taylor Swift, on handling the stress of uncertainty.

“Not knowing where we’re headed is scary, but take things one step at a time and it gets easier to handle the stress.”
